The Hualālai Golf Course is the first Nicklaus design on Hawai‘i and is home to the prestigious PGA Champions Tour "Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualālai" event.
The 2012 Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualālai, a PGA TOUR Champions Tour tournament competition among all official money-event champions of the 2010 and 2011 seasons, winners of the majors since 2007 and eight professionals by invitation with 15 or more career victories, including one major, will be held January 18-22, 20112 at the Hualālai Resort. The golf competition will be held on the Hualālai Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, and tournament guests enjoy the beautiful Four Seasons Resort Hualālai at Historic Ka’upulehu.
